Make MAAP impossible to ignore throughout the EU and UK through an omnipresent approach to endemic PR. Further extend reach into media consumed by creatives and culture instigators, engaging with publications spanning fashion, lifestyle, sustainability and design. Contribute to the global SEO effort by generating powerful backlinks.

Activity

As MAAP’s chosen European PR agency, we bear sole responsible for managing all media relations and press communications. Activity includes writing and distributing press releases announcing product launches, seeding thought leadership media interviews and orchestrating product reviews – always with an eye on telling brand stories and communicating key messages. The brand regularly challenges us to extend our own reach into new fields such as fashion – a task which both keeps us on our toes and encourages us to always pursue progression.

Results

In the first 24 months of working together, we achieved 330 pieces of quality media coverage, spanning the UK, EU and, on occasion further afield. Through our involvement, MAAP has become a regular sight for readers of HYPEBEAST, the leading online destination for men’s contemporary fashion and streetwear; and Highsnobiety, a daily news website covering streetwear, sneakers, cars and lifestyle. This presents the brand to new audiences outside of cycling, paving the way for further growth into new areas of diversification and expansion.

MAAP x HOKA

Working collaboratively with HOKA, we identified a list of key targets, balancing global style powerhouses with smaller titles that have strong regional influence. Drawing on the relationships we’ve built in the fashion and lifestyle space over the years of working with MAAP and other clients, we got to work pitching MAAP and HOKA’s creative vision for the collaboration.

Spring 2025 marked a significant milestone for SunGod, the British challenger brand revolutionising the performance eyewear market. The team came to us with a double brief: 1. Help launch their very first UK BaseCamp, right in the heart of Covent Garden, and 2. Assist in launching their newest product, the FORTY2s.
